Updates for Registered and Waitlisted Cyclists

STF

Hi Cyclists-

A quick update from us at Skinny Tire Events.

Per our release on January 11th our next update was not scheduled until February 15th.

However, some new developments are happening locally that will change our update timeline a bit.

Our local county commissioners are meeting on February 16th to discuss altering the health ordinance which would allow more flexibility with regards to how many participants may be on a route at a time.

What does this mean?
It means if you are currently registered for the Skinny Tire Festival, you are 100% guaranteed a spot in this year’s event. An email stating as such has already been sent to all registered cyclists.

What about the waitlist?

If you are on the WAITLIST, we need to wait until after that meeting on the 16th to determine if we can open up the registration and move folks from the waitlist to actively registered. We will send another update and notify people on the waitlist on February 17th.

As soon as we know more, we will share more with you all. As has become customary the past 12 months, we appreciate your patience as we too try to navigate the always changing and never certain rules being placed upon us by our local officials. We have great optimism that we will know with certainty on February 17th whether waitlist participants will be moved in, and if registration will be opened again.
