Skinny Tire Events Ownership Update

On March 1, 2024, Utah-based Sellers Family Ventures took over the reins of Skinny Tire Events from event founders Mark Griffith and Beth Logan. After more than 22 years of providing fun and memorable cycling events that raised millions of dollars for cancer survivorship programs, they were ready and thrilled to find the Sellers who are eager and ready to carry the torch.

People come from all over the country and the world to cycle these bucket-list-worthy events, and the folks at Sellers Family Ventures are excited to continue to grow the reach for these events. Sellers Family Ventures, owned by Vince Sellers, Angie Sellers, and Austin Sellers, all have substantial experience in the cycling industry - both here in Utah and around the world.

As owners of Custom Getaways, they are no strangers to organizing amazing adventures for cyclists of all skill levels. Custom Getaways is an official tour operator for the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España.  Custom Getaways offers both cycling and spectator trips to these events, opening the door for their guests to ride the official courses, view the races in VIP areas, and other premium-level activities (think vineyards!) in France and Spain.

Ownership transitioning from one family-owned business to another for Skinny Tire Events just made sense, and Mark and Beth are excited to see the Sellers continue the tradition of epic cycling events in Moab, with that caring and personal touch our cyclists have come to know and appreciate. One of those touches, is continuing to contribute a portion of event proceeds to the Moab Cancer Center as well as other charities in the future.  Vince, Angie, and Austin look forward to meeting you at the next Skinny Tire Festival (March 2025) or this fall at the Moab Century Tour (September 2024.)
