2024 Moab Century Tour Photos

September 21st - 22nd 2024, we held our 20th Moab Century Tour in Moab, Utah! The Aarchway Inn, as always, was an excellent host for our event. This event started 23 years ago when the founder wanted to put purpose to his pedaling and raise awareness and funds for cancer survivorship programs in the region. This continues today, with a whole lot of fun as well.

Festival Review

We had many first-time riders as well as participants who’ve ridden with us over ten times!

We had participants from the United States, Canada, and a great group from New Zealand!

26 US states were represented among the participants.

Our youngest participant was 18.

Our most senior participant was 86!

We had a variety of bike types at the event including:

Standard road bikes (with and without electric shift)
Tandem bikes
Electric (class 1) bikes

Many cycling groups traveled together for the event and took advantage of our Recruit 5, Ride Free Program.

Early fall weather always keeps us on our toes in the desert; this year was no exception! Though Saturday morning was looking (and feeling) a bit precarious, ultimately the storms stayed away. As you will see in the photos below, it made for some incredible scenery and photo opportunities as the sun made its way out. Sunday we took off on a brand new route - Bull Canyon Overlook! Cyclists were truly challenged with the large vertical gains, especially towards the end, but oooh were those vista views, dino tracks, and engaging and energetic aid station volunteers worth it at the peak!

A big thank you to our staff, our volunteers, our sponsors, the participants, and everybody involved (including our supportive families!) who help make the Skinny Tire Festival so enjoyable and memorable.
