Rental Bikes Available for Skinny Tire Festival

We have some great news to share!

We know in the past, road cycling bikes in Moab were limited due to our bike shops having a high year-round demand for mountain bikes (and rightfully so, we have amazing MTB riding in Moab!)

The amazing folks at Bike Fiend and Chile Pepper Bike Shop have always been great at offering a limited supply, but often rent out quickly.

We heard the feedback, and have worked hard this off-season to find a partner who could expand the rental opportunities for our participants.

Good News: We found one.

Guthrie Bicycle To Offer Rental Bikes

The great folks at Guthrie Bicycle out of Salt Lake City have agreed to offer our cyclists rental bikes for the 2024 Skinny Tire Festival! They will transport the bikes from their Salt Lake City facilities to Moab, arrange for pickup with the cyclists on Friday afternoon, as well as arrange for dropping them off on Tuesday. The rental bikes will be Trek brand bikes.

Reservations are required.

Here’s How It Works

• Be sure to register for the Skinny Tire Festival to ensure you have a spot. (4-day is starting to fill up!)

• Contact Guthrie Bicycle directly at (801) 484-0404 or via email to reserve your rental bike for the event.

  • All requests to Guthrie must be made prior to January 15th to confirm your rental.

  • The cost for the bike rental is $200 for all 4 days of cycling (What a deal!)

• Arrange your travel to Moab and be able to meet up with the Guthrie van at the Aarchway Inn on Friday, March 8th, to sign your paperwork and receive your rental bike.
