Children Ages 5-10 Youth Garden Project Day Activity for Moab Century Tour Kids


Late-Spring-2007 The Youth Garden Project is offering a fun program for 5-10 year olds that will be a hands-on "Art in the Garden" project or "Mad Scientist in the Kitchen" type of day. Search  www.youthgardenproject.org for more information.
Drop off 7-8am, pick up 3-5pm.

Non-Organized Activities:
Swanny Park blocation of event Rider Check-In on Friday and Saturday's START/FINISH, this playground has swings, slides, and skate park. Rotary Park, a mile from Start/Finish, playground swings/slides, plus several musical instruments....kids love itArches National Park - Sand Hill - giant sand hill for kids to slide down or inside park go to Sand Dune Arch..ideal for younger kids.
Mill Creek Hike - child friendly hike, it travels along a creek, small waterfall, Indian petroglyphs, etc. Matheson Westlands Preserve - Located off Kane Creek Road, flat walkabout for toddlers to teenagers with waterfowl, raptors and shorebirds.
