| Wildfire Closes Loop Road Temporarily |
The La Sal Loop road is the location of a wildfire that began after a dry storm lightening strike Tuesday August 26. Route is re-opened with minimal but noticeable road damage. Cycling through areas burned has been described as a spooky experience. The charred oak brush and trees still standing with their black silhouetted feature will certainly stir your mind. Cyclists should use caution on descent of the La Sal Loop road. Click title for images
