The 92 year old wooden suspension bridge was a welcomed site for cyclists as the turnaround point for the Moab Century Tour and Skinny Tire Festival Colorado River Corridor routes. The Dewey Bridge had not been used by cars for years but was the site of the Skinny Tire Events AID Stations.The bridge was in the path of a fire started in a nearby campground.
