Moab Cancer Treatment and Resource Center Print E-mail
For some, this may be your story.  Imagine you receive a diagnosis and your journey takes you on the path of chemotherapy.  Sometimes the treatments are tolerable, sometimes not. Now imagine that following each treatment you have to travel four hours by car to your home.  Discussion with doctors, extensive education required, and support by providers is not available in your own community.  That is the reality for many of us living in smaller communities.  Thank you for the donations at the Moab Skinny Tire Festival. Your generosity and commitment to making a change in the world of cancer survivors assists us nationally through LAF and locally in the Moab community.

In alignment with LAF's award of $1.5 million in grants to community-based cancer survivorship initiatives, we're pleased to announce that your fundraising benefits both LAF and the Moab Cancer Treatment and Resource Center.  In 2007 LAF awarded the Moab Regional Medical Center a grant in support of the state-of-the-art infusion and treatment room, healing garden, and learning resource center linked to Huntsman Cancer Institute and LIVESTRONG.org.  100% of your donations are distributed to these organizations; you will receive acknowledgement letters from LAF and the Moab Regional Medical Center (both 501(c) 3 charitable organizations). Credit card charges subject to 3.2% processing fee.
