Surprise Guest Revealed: Marty Jemison will be Domestique #1 Print E-mail

What is a Domestique for a Day?

Since launching this program we've had a lot of interest about what exactly a Domestique is and what will they do, so we decided to compare a Skinny Tire Domestique (STF) with a Tour de France Domestique (TdF).  Catch a glimpse of what fun you could have if you and a few friends (or yourself) place the winning bid by noon this Wednesday, February 21.

TdF: provides guidance and interpretation with European road signs
STF: provides guidance on River corridor route (it's an out and back, how difficult can it be?)

TdF: supplies water and needed nutrition
STF: stuffs their face full of cookies while you wait in line at the aid station

TdF: peels off before the finish line after letting you sit on their wheel all the way to the top
STF: holds onto your seatpost and sprays you in the face with a sports drink in an effort to dash ahead of you and finish first (okay we stole that one but are you laughing?)

TdF: discards your "waste" container so you can continue to ride
STF: we have to be honest; our guys won't even go there

TdF: will gladly hand over his own bike to ensure your safe finish if your bike is damaged
STF: will gladly pass you their radio to call (and wait) for SAG support while they go ahead to the finish line

TdF: provides moral support, encouragement, and does their best to make sure you have an all around great day
STF: ditto!

Bid on your favorite Domestique and make these guys work!  Gather some friends and have some fun. Deadline for bidding is this Wednesday, February 21 at noon MST.
