Helping Adult Cancer Patients Enjoy Life |

Colorado's Diana Price Fish Cancer Foundation was established in 1989 with the mission of helping adult cancer patients enjoy life. The organization is in its 19th year of providing adults dealing with cancer the opportunity to participate in social, cultural, and recreational activities throughout Colorado. By giving participants something to look forward to every month, as well as an opportunity to spend precious time with loved ones, participants are offered a "day off" from their cancer situation.

Kirk Golba from Grand Junction, Colorado writes: "I had a LIVESTRONG yard sale and made $1000 last Saturday for LAF. I received many donations from parents and community so it was really successful. I have a proclamation that our mayor is going to read for LiveStrong Day and our regional hospital also has some LiveStrong Day activities planed for the 13th through our Oncology department".

hopelessness and fear which cancer brings. Events like the SKINNY
provide an opportunity for us to do something; thank you for providing
a forum to celebrate surviving, raising money for a good cause, and
awareness of what one person can accomplish".

2008 LIVESTRONG Challenge dates |

The 2008 LIVESTRONG Challenge dates have been announced. The 2008 series will take place in:
Portland, OR - June 29
Bay Area, CA - July 13
Philadelphia, PA - August 24
Austin, TX - October 25-26
If you intend to ride one of these events in 2008, let the Moab Skinny Tire Festival office know by March 1 and we'll notify LAF to transfer any monies raised at the Skinny Tire Festival into your LIVESTRONG account following our event.
